Panerai for Ferrari - Gran Turismo Automatic Chronometer
For your consideration I offer my 1.5year new (96% MINT) Panerai for Ferrari. Watch is in near perfect condition and has been worn sparingly. Bought from Watches of Switzerland in Knightsbridge, still has 1.5 years warranty remaining. Not wearing it often and I have my sights on something else now
I wont go on about how sexy, well designed, solid, and beautiful this watch is.....but if you take a look at the pics you will know what I mean.............its simple and functional!
As this watch is designed for Ferrari, alot of the styling cues come from the aerodynamic shape and bodywork of the cars, for e.g. if you look at the watch from the side (i.e. profile) it is like looking at the gorgeous rear end of an F430. Also the grid dial is also reminiscent of the instrument panel of a Ferrari. The black and red colour contrast gives the watch and extra racy look……..
It’s also a refined 45mm.....a perfect size with a contrast of smooth brushed and polished surfaces which all blend together perfectly.
SPECS:
Movement : automatic mechanical, Panerai OP III calibre, 13¼ lignes, 21 jewels. Glucydur® balance, 28,800 alternations/hour. Incabloc® anti-shock device. Power reserve 42 hours. Côtes de Genève decoration on the bridges. Oscillating weight engraved with the Prancing Horse. Blued screws. Chronometer (C.O.S.C.).
Function: hours, minutes, small seconds, date.
Case: diameter 45 mm, in polished steel with brushed edges, winding crown with the Ferrari logo and rim worked with square-grid pattern.
Bezel: smooth brushed steel.
Back: steel, screw-in, with engraving of the Prancing Horse and geometric pattern decoration; round the edge is engraved the inscription - Engineered by OFFICINE PANERAI.
Dial: black with square-grid guilloche, Ferrari logo and Prancing Horse at 12 o’clock, Arabic numerals for the hours, 60-minute scale with Arabic numerals at 5-minute intervals, small seconds at 9 o’clock with applied cone-section ring in metal, seconds hand and part of the seconds scale in red, date window at 3 o’clock with applied cone-section ring in metal, luminous baton hands.
Crystal: sapphire, made from corundum, 1,9 mm thick. Anti-reflective coating.
Water resistance: 100 metres.
Straps:
(1) black alligator with contrasting stitching, inside part in red alligator with red sewing (97% condition)
(2) interchangeable rubber strap with the inscription Ferrari. (bought this one new as the old rubber strap was worn – 100% condition)
(3) sporty black leather studded Scuderia strap with contrast stitching, inside in yellow alligator.(also bought new – unworn 100% condition)
(4) comes with 2 personalised Ferrari deployant buckles in brushed steel with the edge of the closure in polished steel.(one old buckle in 96% condition and one brand new buckle as spare)
(straps and buckles worth $850 alone)
