For Your Safety: A Message to All Buyers

  • New Seller Notice: If a seller is new to the Collectors Market with less than 200 posts. While everyone starts somewhere, we strongly recommend using a secure payment method like PayPal Goods & Services or a credit card for purchases for buyer protection.
  • Critical Security Alert: Established accounts can be compromised. Always request a custom timestamp (a photo of the watch with a note of your choosing) from any seller, regardless of their transaction history. For the highest security, a live video call is the best way to confirm the seller physically has the watch.

If a seller refuses these basic checks or you see any red flags, stop the transaction immediately.

Remember: A real seller with a genuine watch has nothing to hide and will understand your need for caution.

This rare, stainless steel Jaeger LeCoultre Tribute to Deep Sea Alarm American Edition from 2011 is in excellent condition and has been tested for mechanical functionality. This Tribute to Deep Sea is a faithful reissue to the original Deep Sea that was released in 1959, and sold to the American markets as the "LeCoultre Spécial Amérique 1959”. It is a limited edition with only 359 examples made, and it comes as a full set with box and papers with additional fitting bracelet and tropic strap.

Sized at 40.5mm, it is impressively similar in size to the original from 1959. The case features a mixture of brushed and polished surfaces, giving off a nice contrast and depth to the watch. It features long, straight bevelled lugs and a fixed, matte bezel made of anodised aluminium. The decision to use aluminium instead of ceramic was made in order to stay faithful to the original. Furthermore, the bezel is hour marked with luminous triangles on each pole. The black dial has a grainy texture with luminous hour markers and features syringe hands that are similarly filled with luminous material. The dial is signed ‘LeCoultre’, which was the name and branding Jaeger LeCoultre used in the American market back then.

Awaiting its lucky new owner.
