Hello gentlemen,

This exceptional complicated Patek Philippe is accompanied by a Patek Philippe Certificate of Authentication Papers (Patek,Geneva).

Plus: The original Sotheby's catalog, confirming that this particular Patek 1579 was originally owned by "the most famous Industrial designer" in Germany (Peter Schmidt, 1937-). One of Mr. Schmidt's designs is on permanent display at "New York's Museam of Modern Art".

The article goes on to say that Mr. Schmidt's passion for futurist design ,... but his love and respect for vintage design and craftsmanship, as embodied by this special Patek 1579 watch. I can understand that appreciation,... especially given the stunning and elegant angular lugs (unusual design for Patek) of the ref: 1579 chronograph.

The case has a destintive large diameter of 36mm (VERY!!! large for a vintage Patek Philippe) which wears even larger, due to it's expansive beautiful dial.

The case appears to be unpolished (I'll defer to your judgement, based on the many pics provided), which is Remarkable !!! for a 61 year old watch.

The dial has some imperfections, but the dial is 100 % original, and the stunning patina!!!! is simply gorgeous!!!!. It has the raised, "hard-baked enemaled lettering",... a characteristic of these original Patek Philippe dials.

The Patek Philippe movement is from a period that many collectors regard as the "Golden Age of Patek Philippe".

The exquisite movement, with it's elaborate hand-finishing,... rarely seen in many of today's modern movements,... is sheer MASTERY!!!!!!

Patek Philippe original movement: 13 ''', “rhodium-plated, 'fausses-côtes' decoration, 23 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, 8 adjustments, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring, micro-meter regulator”,…. A horological masterpiece!!!!!!!

This piece has been recently serviced and is keeping good time. Watch winds butter smooth, movement still shimmers, and all chronograph functions work perfectly.

Watch will come with used Patek strap, and an **Patek Philippe 18K gold deployant buckle (pics attached).***

Plus: A Brand New Patek Philippe aligator strap (rich dark brown, pic attached))

This is a stunningly beautiful piece, and significantly large for a vintage Patek Philippe complicated piece.

These complicated vintage Patek Philippe wrist-watches have excellent investment potential, but more importantly,..it's a "STUNNING MASTER-PIECE"!!!
