For Your Safety: A Message to All Buyers
If a seller refuses these basic checks or you see any red flags, stop the transaction immediately.
Remember: A real seller with a genuine watch has nothing to hide and will understand your need for caution.
IWC's Cal 89, developed in 1946, emerged after the IWC factory was destroyed during a World War II bombing. This movement set a new benchmark in watchmaking standards, helping to redefine the IWC brand. Despite its relative simplicity, the Caliber 89 was at the forefront of watchmaking technology, utilizing only the most advanced parts and materials available at the time. Its reliability and precision led the British Ministry of Defense to issue their pilots the IWC Mark XI, equipped with the Caliber 89 movement, for over 30 years.
This particular IWC Calatrava, crafted in stainless steel, boasts a stunning and straightforward design. The elegant Calatrava case and dial perfectly complement the robust and practical stainless steel, making this watch an exceptionally reliable and durable choice for daily wear.
