FS: Lange 1815 up down, VERY RARE I am a Lange collector in the greater Boston area. For sale from my collection is an 1815 up down, reference 221.032. This is initial version of the 1815 up down. 36mm rose gold case and matching tang buckle. Silver dial. While the 221.032 included rose gold hour and minute hands, THIS watch is rather unique in that it has blued steel hour and minute hands that match the blued steel seconds and power reserve hands. I have the original rose gold hands that came with the watch. In addition, I have a letter from Lange documenting that the change to blued steel hands was authorized by Lange and executed by Alkis in 2007. This is the only such rose gold 1815 up down that I have seen. The watch has superb provenance. It was originally sold by a U.S. dealer in 2007. It has just received a full service from Alkis and as such has two years of warranty remaining. The watch is in mint condition with full box and papers, as well as the original rose gold hands and accompanying documentation. It is keeping excellent time. No issues. My price is $17,900. Price includes insured shipping in the continental U.S. I am well-known member of the local Lange community and have plenty of references. Thank you very much for looking.
