Laco instead of Lange?
My friend Patrick has been embroiled in a dispute with Antiquorum for almost four years regarding a watch he purchased from them at auction. The watch was described in the auction catalog as "A. Lange & Sohne", but after inspection at the Lange manufacture, turned out to be a Laco! I can't believe Antiquorum is giving him so much trouble -- the situation seems pretty clear.
We went together to Antiquorum's offices in New York on Friday last week and none of the executives were there. Seemed a bit like a ghost town. I've heard they're having financial difficulties. Has anyone heard similar stories?
Regards, Jeff.
