I am biased, but...
IMHO, this is the best executed moonphase to date. The backdrop of the black dial adds to the nocturnal charm of the star-filled night-side of the disk, but it also provides a striking contrast to make the day-side really pop. The sunrise and sunsets, as you have captured here, are exceptionally beautiful.
Perhaps Lange will eventually put a slightly larger version of the day-night disk in the Grand Lange 1 Moonphase, but I think this placement, without minute and hour hands in the way, showcases it better.
