I was ambivalent about the Odysseus -- the Honeygold looked interesting - brown dial! - I was never going to get THAT call.
And the photos for the steel version (363.179) were a little humdrum.
But at the boutique (for other reasons), the manager brought one out in steel and blue. I tried it on and fell in love!

It's very readable and elegant.
The bracelet was extremely comfortable.
The dial is lovely.
Really, it surprised me in every way.
Been thinking about pulling the trigger on this, come the holidays.
I am curious what other people's experiences have been with this as either a daily driver or an occasional weekend sports watch.

Even after I saw it in the metal, I did not like it. But many people do. And if it appeals to you, that is what is most important.
Since inception I liked the concept, the movement, the dial and the functions!
But the bracelet attachment at the lugs lost me, it’s just not harmonious. What’s even more infuriating is that Lange took away the option to remove the bracelet after the first batch! Imagine this piece on a proper bracelet or rubber strap… But love is b...
I like it and would buy at MSRP if I could.
Imho it is an interesting and attractive sporty/business casual watch front and back. Pls let me know if you decide to pass.
