Lovely post on the Richard Lange

I've been a proud owner of the 232.032 since 2010. I loved it so much I also bought the 232.025, but the platinum was so cold It never got wrist time. I regret parting with the pt model. One of my 4-5 collecting regrets.

Nice write up. Cheers,

This is the third of the four Lange watches in my collection: the Richard Lange in pink gold. A very precise (0.1 spd, 0.0 beat error, 347 amplitude at full wind, with Lange's proprietary balance spring) and deceptively simple three-hand watch. I say that...

Absolutely.

I keep thinking I need a Richard Lange in my life, but I keep holding back because of the size and heft. This is one more excellent reason on the 'need' side of the ledger.

Agreed!

I've always liked the RL center seconds

I never investigated that bridge in the center of the movement. Thanks for the explanation 👍

Thank you for sharing this. The RL is a deceptively niche watch.

Thank you for the insightful sharing.

The Richard Lange is exceptional despite, or perhaps precisely, because of its simplicity.
