Always interested in the Zeitwerk. To me it is a must have model in every Lange collection (apart from Lange 1 and Dato). I do noticed some issues regarding some early models has “sudden” jerk move of the minute plate and the watch stop for no reason...et...
from what I recalled. This unlocking results in slight movement of the minute discs before the jump at exactly 00 seconds. Is this what you mean? If yes that is normal. I have not heard of any issues of the watch stopping suddenly.

So from the sound of it, any model after 2017 should equip with the updated movement. But in case I am looking for a preowned one. How can you tell the difference from the caseback? Or worst scenario, ALS will update it once I send it in for service?
