To that end I am wearing and posting a simple patek in stainless steel but it carrys a big punch
The movement is the famous cal 27-460
Supposedly better than the famous 12-600 but upgraded
Seven more jewels
Winding weight is not guilloched
No swan neck regulator
Revamped rotor ball bearing
Slightly thinner 4.6 mm vs 6 mm
Balance spring is self adjusting
All carry the gyromax balance whereas only the later 12-600 were fitted with this

And now for something completely different. The watch of my great grandmother…obviously pre 1940. I asked for the extract, which confirms the original state, even if movement and case numbers would indicate differently, has been cases quite late… Not sure...
