Some watches are almost universally appreciable for their design purity.
If we simply analyse the aesthetics, there seems little to objectively criticise. Naturally, the question of case size can't be dismissed, but I imagine that a few diehard 40mm plus collectors would fall for the charm of the 96 if they were to try it on.
Is the casemaker of the first piece Borgel?
