Montblanc Heritage Chronometrie Ultra Slim, Annual Calendar and the Homage to Nicolas Rieussec special edition

A visit to the Montblanc Boutique today gave me some great relief from work smile

I was pleasantly surprised to see some of the 2015 novelties on sale already (but I still have to wait for my Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrarum until Sep or Oct!!)

The new Heritage Chronometrie Ultra Slim was a model I have not tried the last time during the Montblanc Black and White week in Singapore.

Today I managed to try it in the metal. A perfect size of 38mm, a slim case and a very elegant dial. Movement is pretty nice too. A pink gold manual wind ultra thin watch at a very accessible price! Unbelievable! Only 8+k sgd. I couldn't believe it! Really good value for someone looking for a first gold watch and not willing to pay so much money for a watch. I truly believe Montblanc will capture lots of new customers with these offerings of value

Sorry for the iPhone photos with poor lighting.

Next I saw the Heritage Chronometrie Annual calendar. This is the regular edition and not the Limited Vasco da Gamma version (which I prefer). Another handsome offering at an attractive price point. Wish it were a bit smaller as 40mm for this small movement is not the best IMHO.

Finally I took a look at the watch I first saw in Watches and Wonders 2014. The Homage to Nicolas Rieussec special edition with the superluminova horse on the dial. I really love this watch but alas it is too big for my small wrist.

Hopefully one day, there will be a smaller Nicolas Rieussec for me smile

Hope you guys can check out these new models at a Montblanc boutique near you soon.

Cheers
Robin

That moonphase subdial at 6 is a clever design as it also makes the other subdials look less cluttered in the center. I will try to take a close up pic of the moonphase next time Cheers Robin

Looks like a relaxing break from work
