basic economics would say that both the seller's and the buyer's welfare has increased in the transaction

so I hope it got to someone who loves early Journes and had the disposable income. I not sure that one should call this stupidity in that crazy hobby of ours. Is it stupid to pay more for a watch than for a Porsche or a Steinway? I sometimes wonder....
