ah... I had seen that dial macro before. That and your other images inspired me to take a closer look at the 199. Now I own one : )

... but a molded-in pattern with texture simulating woven CF.

Only the last pic was taken with my iPhone... the other 2 with a Canon DSLR.

I've had my eye on a 26 and you fanned the flames even more... congratulations!

Oh my....

Such a nicely balanced dial and the hands with the extended lume-fill etc... a lot of buttons pushed by that one. Another pic to add to my SLYTECH folder!

The new 305 has got my attention!

and a little bit of everything else with Panerai. Except subs. Bases, GMT, Ti, white dial, Special Editions and Manifattura... a taste of each. I'm impressed how the subs stand apart from most of the other models and at the same time incorporate many...
