Thank you Nicolas Thats one of them - nos :)

Jul 28, 2011,22:53 PM

I got it with original bracelet and price tag (400 usd smile) - couple of storage marks - otherwise perfect, I just do not want to resize barcelet so it went on the band

Funny story I got 2 of them last week - this nos and one other - this other unfortuantelly come broken and I had to return it smile

and since 2 years I am still having one dead in my drawer as parts back up

I just love this design ....

and the movement is also very pretty or at least intersting - with big plastic wheel in the center.

My very best my friend and have a great weekend

Rafal

Thanks Blomman

 By: . Anders : July 31st, 2011-04:33
This ad, I have not seen before. A Swedish ad. Interesting to see what they cost 1960. They had movement 290-294. 291 was probably the most common and that is it with dates. Sometimes the date is placed at 3. But I prefer at 12 Regards Anders

Superb picture!

 By: MattS : July 28th, 2011-11:56
and a very desirable watch! Matt

Thank you!

 By: . Anders : July 30th, 2011-13:56
Tyler, Matt and Art. I try my best to get a harmony in the pictures, although I not always succeed, I must admit. The watch is quite a rare model with a date at 12. Regards Anders

I don't know if this is a happy watch but I'm happy with it

I really like Omegas from the 70's / 80's, I find your watch beautiful as it make me think of the beauty of a 1970's dial with a touch of modernity. A really good balance I think. Best, Mark

I expect subtle mechanical issues to require warranty repair, but that sort of stares you in the face. Perhaps JLC should add 60 seconds to their 1000 Hours of testing and look at the watches? A

Well the watch wasn't delivered to the customer. The boutique returned it to be fixed.

If I fall on a watch which has a flaw, I don't get it, even if I was running after it for several years... When it comes to Moderns, and specially on this TT DSA, of course this is not a major flaw, but I find no excuses to let this watch go from the Manu...

Maybe they had a deadline to meet..

 By: fernando : July 30th, 2011-00:35
but QC really sucks in this case!

Sorry to see this defect, Patrice!

By: blomman Mr Blue : July 31st, 2011-02:48
As you said the 999 hour control. But they still charge for the full 1000 I guess… Still a beautiful photo and in normal case a beautiful watch! Best Blomman

Omega Dynamic

 By: hans_jorgen_1968 : July 29th, 2011-04:51
I really enjoy the old Dynamics, and especially this one. My fathers from 1972 until he passed away in 2008. Hagwe all pure purists Hans...

In that case, it's a . . .

 By: Dr No : July 29th, 2011-13:11
. . . very special watch, Hans. Wearing my Dad's watches not only brings a smile, but warm sentiments, also . . .

There is a lot of life lived in that, Hans ...

 By: AndrewD : July 29th, 2011-17:45
... enjoy it to it's fullest, just as your father did. A

Perfection!

 By: Vinontre : July 29th, 2011-15:32
Very glad to see yours! I love the '65 more and more every day... C This message has been edited by Vinontre on 2011-07-29 15:33:32

And I guess that at the beginning, you preferred the '68 bit more?

 By: amanico : July 29th, 2011-22:12
The '65 is a watch to discover, powerful and elegant at the same time, a true, unique character. Thank you, my friend. Nicolas

Haha yes...

 By: Vinontre : July 31st, 2011-03:03
In fact I bought my first TTP68 because I thought it looked like it had very big and visible luminous dart indices... But I found out after bringing it home that it was a non-luminous "correct color" dial... So I continued my quest to get the full-luminou...

Beautiful !

By: Mark in Paris : July 30th, 2011-08:21
And the shape of the crystal seems to be an important aesthetics detail too. Can you tell me why 3 crowns ? I saw on latest models there are only two, is it because before the same functions needed to be supported by 3 different crowns instead of 2 ? Best...

Simple...

 By: amanico : July 30th, 2011-08:24
The crown at 5 is used to wind the watch and set the time. The crown at 3 is for the bezel ( hence the difference with the other Memos, which have 2 crowns, only ). The crown at 1 is for the alarm / date setting setting, and to wind the alarm. Simple, isn...

Crystal clear ^^ thanks Nicolas [nt]

This is one of the watches that I intend on taking on vacation. George...

Very cool Pam

 By: Davo : July 30th, 2011-12:43
Seems to work well with a dark suit. I know it'll work well with a black tee.

Actually.

 By: grigo : July 30th, 2011-20:55
I was wearing a black tie that day with a dark grey suit, black shoes also. Kind of decked out in black. Best regards, George

Looks like you are all set for vacation…

Jealous of those Silbersteins -- what could be happier?

 By: SethRL : July 29th, 2011-07:47
But here's my choice for a happy day. I put this on and Neil Young's Harvest Moon and together I've got a smile on my face. (Believe me, choosing which watch made me happiest was not easy.)...

Very cool watch!

Unexpected? This was my happy watch I was wearing when I went up to hot spring a few weekend ago and put it on the menu of the gorgeous in-room dinner. Hehehe. Wow, is that the outdoor bath only for me? Nice dinner served in the room, Cold Sake, and outdo...

That's a lovely restful shot with the Saki.

Well, this one makes me very happy!

 By: Gary G : July 29th, 2011-08:07
...because it's great, and because it's new (to me): For anyone who is interested, more photos of this one are on the Lange forum... And on a completely different plane, I've been wearing this next one recently as well. It's the first watch I ever bought ...

Well-executed wrist shot, Gary . . .

 By: Dr No : July 29th, 2011-13:31
. . . crisp, taut, and nicely structured. Your usual macro lens, or something simpler? I could never get the hang of using an SLR to take wrist shots . . .

+1

 By: AndrewD : July 29th, 2011-17:57
And you said you couldn't do wristshots, Gary! Looks fantastic. Thanks. And congratulations again. It is even better because you know what a wondrous movement lurks inside. Andrew

Thanks! You have a good eye...

I used my Leica D-Lux 4 for this one...on the DSLR the limited DOF does seem to cause problems. Thanks for the kind words! Best, Gary
