I doubt any of my pictures are any good, but I know which ones I like!

Just one submission, since we are only allowed 2 watches for static. A pair of indies in steel with salmon guilloche, with 2 different complications. A pair I am rather fond of!

A most humble thanks. Hmm, two more and being static...

Imho the best static is someone truly made for the task. Sherman is (literally) in a Class of his own ...

Sherman is a cheeky one…

My four:)

I had to resist the urge to post pure Urushi shots - it both challenging & wonderful to photograph, I've added some other options as trying to refrain from the obvious. Cheers JML ...

Wow 🀩

πŸ˜‰ Breguet 3773 - I love the fine GuillochΓ¨ on this Triple Calendar A cool shot on a hot day - JLC DSA-EU LC 3072 - A Child of the 70ies: curves, curves, curves.. My oldest β€žgood watchβ€œ: Rolex Date 16000 ...

Great shots as usual dear friend HS!! The Breguet awesome dial is shown in all its glory in your first close up. And the DSA EU is a "cool" shot literally! Lol!

 By: Subexplorer : September 16th, 2023-14:48
Then your Le Coultre Alarm is truly representative of the 70' s style with its charming pebble shape. I specially like your lovely Rolex Date (an early one I feel) with the Bokeh effect flower in background making a great shot of this charming watch. Well...

My big pleasure to view and comment even if I knew and remembered some of these shots specially the LC one and the Rolex Date.

 By: Subexplorer : September 16th, 2023-15:10
The Date shot is a winner. I find the Bokeh effect rightfully done to make it a very special picture. Have a great weekend dear HS! Best cordial regards, Abel

That DSA shot…

Appreciate your joining in, Greg, but three are wrist shots. Can you share one more static . . .

I thought the Croton with beer was static but I see I was wrong. I think I can still edit but if not thats the one to delete. I'll re-do it now

. . . and frankly, the limit is at least as much for Casey's benefit as for leveling the playing field. It's quite a task he's taken on, judging both categories. Art PS - played snooker last night for the first time since '69, and yes, Bob is making a cue...

If history is anything to go by...

 By: Dr No : September 17th, 2023-02:41
. . . but there can be any number of watches per photo, N. Feel free to submit one more static and two wrist shots. Getting more than one wrist in a wrist shot is difficult, but that's another matter altogether.

Nice Genta.

You are absolutely right dear Captain! "Best is in the eyes of the beholder". You bring some great choices from your shots collection (and watch collection let me add).

I didnΒ΄t remember viewing "The Vortex" before. ThatΒ΄s an stunning shot: both the background and the superb timepiece you share. Then "The Space, final frontier" is a very striking image too. The Panerai and Doxa shots I remember well, as both were winners...

Thank you Abel …
