At 150M WR you can absolutely swim, shower, hot tub with the Overseas!

If its been 5+ years go get it pressure tested at your nearest boutique (for free) but otherwise the seals and gaskets should have a service life of 20+ years so there shouldn't be any real reason for failure.

Planning a quick trip with the kids to Florida. What is the consensus on swimming in a pool or shallow surf with a VC? The watch certainly has the water resistance but I have to say it makes me a little "nervous." I have an older Breitling that I've used ...

I’d say you’re fine…the whole point of the watch is a dual time water resistant travel watch…go for it!

I do it all the time with my gen 2.

Just make sure the crown is screwed down and rinse off with fresh water afterwards.

As it’s water resistance is stated to be 150meter, with screwed down crown,

swimming or surfing will be fine 👌🏻 The only activity needs to be avoided is probably showering in hot water, which may affect the plastic O ring’s integrity. Enjoy your VC overseas dual time with all those water activities 😊 Cheers, Henry
