2 years of rain in 24 hours

It was horrible for Dubai Watch Week. The event was closed for half a day, and the organizers of Dubai Watch Week scrambled to hire dozens of staff members to clean the site. There was so much water that the floors needed to be dried - the granite was sli... 

Had a connecting flight and now already 36 hours acting like Tom Hanks . Complete madness, waited over 6 hours in the line for a rebooking. I quit the line and booked a new flight myself. 'Slept' in one of these pods last night, so lucky to have all the g...  

... must get out of this taxfree asap ... grrrr

I came back with 3 kilograms of chocolate from Dubai Airport last time! I think I bought 12 of these bars! ...  

You know I will never buy chocolates outside of Belgium But I rarely buy a watch in Belgium.

Maybe the holiday feeling ... and in France with a bit of luck you can find Seiko's with huge discounts. Sometimes tax free is also interesting.

Probably have my flight in a couple of hours.

I will have spent 43 hours wandering around like a rabbi. Luckily the food was good, toilets super clean and the people (well, most of them) super friendly. And I finally bought my first quartz watch ... actually that's not true ... maybe my fifth .. or c... 

Not that easy to find anymore ... but it is quite cheaper online ... by a lot ... lol Not so Padre Schlomo anymore ;-)

I bought a Citizen Eco-drive, quite a quirky one. By the way ... I'm out of Dubai and chilling in Tel Aviv. Party time !!!!!

Didn't know you could get dog in Tel Aviv! I thought it was more often served in China and Korea! Joking aside, glad you are out of harms way!

Right! I don't eat those things. But yes, we Americans do eat hot dogs!

First another destination .. I hope this evening.

Climate change is REAL phenomenon.

The question is if climate change is induced by man's pollution habits (it very likely is, and me driving a 5 liter V8 engine car in traffic doesn't help), and what can we do to slow it down?

China's incredible economic growth also meant hundreds of millions of people started flying airplanes, driving cars, using a lot of electricity, and other energy/pollution activities. If that has accelerated climate change, imagine what will happen when I... 

Hopefully this extreme weather won't cause crop failures and thus cause starvation... We better start eating more plates de canard!
