I'm happy to present you the new ltd edition Reverso Vantage by Jaeger-LeCoultre for Aston Martin for the launch of the new V8 Vantage Roadster .

 

This watch is issued in two versions, the one being presented here is the men's Grande Automatique, while there is also a women's smaller version with the same styling.

 

 

The black guilloche dial is animated with a few red touches, the second time zone hand and small seconds hand, and the 8 in honour of the celebrated V8.

 

 

The Night and Day indicator shows the AM wings by day on a white background.

 

 

The watches will be available only through AML distributors and orders have begun.

 

 

You'll need a red stitched black leathered Vantage Roadster to go with this one!

 

 

The Vantage face appears by night in the Night and Day indicator.

 

 

The real thing was obviously there too, in a very nice combination of green colours.

 

 

This is definitely a nice car!

 

 

The short chassis allows for a very compact profile and proves that it is not necessary to have long bodies to get a beautiful design. The short wheel base DB6 Volante is one of my favourite AMLs and this V8 Vantage Roadster embodies its spirit quite well (IMO).

 

 

Alas the bad weather didn't allow us to see the top dropped!

There are nicer Reverso than this one! As for Peugeot,they were brilliant this year,BUT nothing can beat the magnificient noise of a 8,10 or 12 Cylinder! Believe me ,it was a greaaaat moment! We missed you,my friend ,as the Albanian Bro too!

I like the dial layout and colours, although the night/day indicator takes a bit of getting used to; the Aston Martin on the disc looks awkward IMHO. - SJX
