How about an Eichi to celebrate Credor’s 50th anniversary?

Yellow gold and dark blue dial - wow! This year marks Credor's 50th anniversary, and a special edition of the acclaimed Eichi II will mark the occasion. This commemorative watch features a deep blue porcelain dial. The hour markers, the Credor logo at the...

A grail watch

Wow

My favourite iteration since the original...perhaps even better?

Yes, it sings to me!

Beauty is definitely in the eyes of the beholder

I am not fond of the blue dial with the yellow gold - I actually think it looks quite gaudy. I much prefer the rose gold version which to me exudes class and discreet elegance. Photo credit to Deployant. ...

Prefer yours!

Agreed!

Black would have been great or even rose gold with a black dial!

Superb 👌

I think that’s an artifact of the photo

Not necessarily visible to the eye. Ground Lapis looks like this on a tempera painting I own, but is variable with light. ...

Much more subtle in real life

That blue only comes out if fully illuminated. Like most dials from Grand Seiko and Credor, they are inherently dynamic.

Not big on the colorway, but love the OG version of this watch.

What I'd really love to see is an openworked variant that shows off that lovely finishing...

Front of all Eichi versions looks perfect...

Just wish that the movement is 'upgraded' to 9R02 finishing. Eichi II is 10 years old this August, hopefully Eichi III is around the corner sooner than later.

I can't find flaw with the back, either!

Not really a flaw

But the inward angle of 9R02 (even though it is only 1) is a clear upgrade. Also believe the other extra (though not as important is the power reserve increase to 84 hours. If 9R02 is in Eichi III, would be seriously tempted to find funds for one.

I think it’s so beautiful.

Perhaps because they are cranking out 30?

Micro Art Studio is a small shop and I’m not sure where or how they apportion the labor on things like that.

But as a graphic designer and a typography idiot savant...

...I REALLY appreciate the hand-painted work.

For me, the idea of an interior angle is that it shows hand finishing (for now)

But this movement is clearly hand finished to a high degree.

The 9R02 has one

Sadly the interior angle seems to be preserved to GS
