Well, I'd rather have a watch that is +7 than -1...having a slow watch drives me nuts :)

How do you place your watch when you take it off? Before you take it in for service, I would change the way you rest the watch at night (assuming you don't sleep with it). Remember the watch is tested in several positions but not all positions yield the same timing results. Best of luck!

MT5602 mouvement - Some questions about its precision

 By: MR74 : February 23rd, 2024-12:40
I recently get my FXD MN24 which has the COSC certification. After 5 days on my wrist, it runs with + 35 sec (+7 sec per day) which is more than the COSC spec (-4 sec / +6 sec). What do you think about it? Do I have to send it back to the manufacture? Any...

Thank you for your comment Tavio_George.

No, I do not sleep with it 😆. When I take it off, I lay it almost flat. The strap lifts it a little bit as you can see on the photo below. Once again thanks and have a Nice day. ...

How to regulate your watch yourself.

I think Tudor can do better.

Personally I would take it back for an adjustment.

ROFL!!!

That seems a little fast?

 By: TeutonicCarFan : February 23rd, 2024-13:35
Not terrible. At first I saw 35 sec and assumed magnetized, but that's over 5 days. Sometimes I wonder since all my watches get shipped to me that the process could introduce magnetizism

Yes 7 secs per day.

Please feel free to wind the crown manually 10 to 20 times

The watch will be more accurate when the mainspring is wound.

I have an MN21 that also ran noticeably fast out of the box. After a couple of weeks of constant wearing the issue fixed itself.

I totally understand your concern, and it's well warranted. But a bit of time with your new wrist companion maybe all you need.

Thank you for your post Goodfellow.

I will see in few weeks. Hopefully it is going to be the same for my MN24 🤞

That is way too much!

 By: ZSHSZ : February 23rd, 2024-14:13
I suggest, give it a couple of weeks to break in and if it doesn’t improve take it to Tudor or your AD for a regulation, that movement can do way better than that… Easy fix…

Is it a 2024 watch?

 By: Mary Anny : February 23rd, 2024-14:23
I mean, is it a MN24 (as you say) or an older watch sold in 2024? In both cases, I would take it to the AD for an inspection. These movements are generally very precise. My daughter owns a Black Bay that has exactly the same issue, -7 seconds per day, in ...

Thank you Mary Anny for your comment.

It is a brand new MN24. I was on the waiting list so as soon as my AD got it he gave me the call (it was last Friday). I will give it a couple of weeks to see what happen. If there is no change then I will bring it back to my AD.

👍🏻😉

Hello heighthorology! That is right. The Redbull version has the same movement.

 By: MR74 : February 23rd, 2024-22:31
TUDOR watches are good. So I think my issue will be fixed quickly. I am going to follow the advices of the WPS members. I got the change to try both Redbull version when I was last time at my AD (3 hands version and the chrono) and I can say they are real...

Gracias amigo por la respuesta! I really appreciate.

I lay the watch almost flat at night (see photo I have posted above to reply to Tavio_George). Which position would be the best for you?

When I first got my Tudor Ranger it ran about 5 sec/day which I found too fast. Today it’s 1 sec/day.

By: Chronometer (aka yacomino) : February 24th, 2024-12:22
As some commented sometime the watch just need to run a bit to settle in and also sometime 1 or 2 position are worst … now when I wear it it has zero deviation and at night I leave it crown right which I often found to be the slowest position on rolex and...

Really appreciate your comment. Thank you my friend.

What do you mean by "I leave it crown right"? I am not sure to understand well the position you mean. Is it the point 2 or 3 explained below (document provided by Bobbe)? ...

Crown right is easy to do if you have a watch box (first picture on the right)

Funny, all my three new Tudors are losing a few seconds per day

 By: Marcus Hanke : February 26th, 2024-12:58
Black Bay S&G: -2 sec Pelagos LHD: -1 sec. Pelagos Chrono: not measured yet, but also some -2 or 3 sec Therefore I was under the impression that Tudors are generally regulated a bit on the slow side. Marcus
