Good point. My first nice watch was actually an AT. 2003, if memory serves. I bought the wrong size at 41mm..

I had the silver dial so it looked like a dinner plate on my wrist. Back then, I had no clue though about wrist sizes and such. If I had the mid size version, I probably would have still had it. Good pieces, these ATs, if you just wanted a one and done like how a datejust is a good one and done.

Only issue I have with the AT is that they can’t seem to settle on a core design signature for the dial. Started out with plain sunburst dials. Then changed to vertical striped ones. Then to the current boat deck ones. Apart from that, probably more comfy...
