Patek 5550P is really difficult to capture with camera. But never mind! The watch is lovely, different, accurate... Mine is also soon one year and every time I put it to my wrist, a smile comes into my face. Enjoy yours! Best, Kari

The first pic is really nice

It is a spectacularly beautiful piece and your pictures do not look grainy at all to me. Hope year 2 will be equally enjoyable!

I am very, very curious how this cal 240 alteration is behaving over time. I made the experience that the standard cal 240 is impressively accurate at the beginning but loses the accuracy over the period of seven years ownership now. It is due to service ...

Yes, this is a question I'd like to get an anwser too

By: Mark in Paris : January 8th, 2016-08:31
from an intelectual curiosity standpoint! My 5712 works indeed perfectly after a little more than 3 years. I'll check how it behaves after servicing. Thanks for the info Moritz. Cheers, Mark

The answer will be around 2023 at hand

Hi Mark, I am late with service, I confess but it is o.k. because I wanted to see how this calibre is behaving, to see the the character of this movement. The definitive answer to this question will be obvious around seven years after the coming service. ...

Interim report...

Hi Moritz Since 5550 has been my daily wear for the entire year, I probably have the most practical experience with it. Since the first day of my wearing the piece, I have consistently been measuring its performance using a timegrapher and here are some s...

That is a very helpful report

By: COUNT DE MONET : January 8th, 2016-13:37
Hi Jim, a report to my taste! If I can make a suggestion: I myself did not have a timegrapher when I investigated the accuracy. I simply set the watch to an internet time signal, one of those atomic clock services, and compared it after a month or two aga...

The first picture is my favorite
