Thank you for these pictures, I have never seen it before! The center second hand strikes me as very different for a Panerai, but works well here.

Blast from the Past: Panerai PAM 192 Tantalum Chronograph

This was a limited edition of 300 pieces, released in 2004. 44 mm Tantalum case, Lemania movement ( if my memory serves me well ). This grey blue case was a delight for the eyes, and the its density was a feast for the wrist. Do you remember this watch? B...

exotic materials. At one time years ago I really lusted after this and the 172. Over the years I have come across and bought a number of tantalum pieces, vintage and modern. I simply love its heft, hardness and unique color. To me, tantalum and platinum a...

Indeed! The blue hue is simply amazing.

But just like ceramic, I only like brushed tantalum not polished. This is why while I like the Journe Chronometer Bleu for its amazing dial and the relative heft for such a slim case due to tantalum and rosegold, the appearance of the case is not that app...

Luckily they only made 300 of this...things.

Great piece, wish it had an exhibition back like its brother the 172. I always wondered how it would look on their blue croc strap.

After owning FP journe bleu, I fell in love with tantalum as well. My most favorite metal, I have to say.

Always hard to know what and when to sell or buy

This one and his bro PAM172 are two of the Panerai more beautiful that exist. I am lucky enough to meet one of the lucky owners and when I 've put it, the first thing that comes to mind is... run Angel and enjoy it while you can. )) These watches had a he...

and will regret if forever that I sold it ... tantalium is realy a very special metal in the watch business and the colour is hard to show on a picture, darker and with a blue tone heavy like gold, very hard to work on ! ...

Aaah Patrick... Thanks for these pictures from another era and place we both frequented... ;)
