A Jaeger Lecoultre ad from 1948: Cal 170.

While browsing on the net, I fell on that advertising: ( Credit: Vintage paper and Salvag )

This advertising was hilighting Jaeger Lecoultre movements as being the most accurate.

While reading the movements numbers in this document, I wondered if it was not the Cal 170, and especially one of those I took in picture at the Manufacture...

Bingo.

This is the very same one! ( Please note that the first shot is from me, the two others are to be credited to JLC ).

" The 464254 obtained the only award attributed for smallest mean daily variation in the pocket chronometer class. "

It provides you quite an extraordinary feeling to feel, touch, and see such an important and interesting piece.

For those who want to know more about this pocket watch and other JLC Chronometers, here is the link:

Best,

Nicolas

the best ads in my opinion and I wouldn't have seen half of the vintage ones had it not been for your efforts here . Wonderful pocket watch. Cheers, Filip
