The Reverso Quadriptyque was " digitally " issued in April 2021, since there was no physical watch fair this year. So it took me some time to be able to see this new masterpiece in real life, which I could admire during a trip to the Manufacture in Februa...  

And of course for taking the time to detail everything so thoroughly. This made my day: "You have a drawer on the bottom of the box - totally mechanical - that allows you to set the watch - you enter the number of days which have elapsed since the watch s... 

To call it a watch is a misnomer. It is genius mechanical art. Thank you for the photo-by-photo description.

Seriously though, what a magnificent thing that is and not just the technical achievements but the sheer beauty of it. Truly a work of art. I’ve started saving up! Regards Kev.

Wow! Just wow! This is an amazing timepiece. Definitely super expensive though - and I remember when I saw this watch it was too big for my wrist. But I like the concept. I really like the Trebuchet hammers. I REALLY LIKE THE BOX!!! Everything about it is...

If they could go back to the plains where " normal " people are, with a few innovative whatches a thousand times less complex than this one, they would make people happy here !

I always enjoy reading your unbiased watch reviews. Do you know how power is transmitted to drive the astronomical complications on the base? Also given the complexity of the movement and 6 years of development time, would they even make money by selling ... 

But I do agree with you, they shouldn't forget about their core audience.

This is the JLC I am missing. The creativity and self-confidence in this watch is second to none. So many good choices have been made here, with the (to me) best ones being the size of the watch and the focus on the user experience demonstrated by the box... 

- the one without the guilloche cover over the dial - the grande date...aka the "outsized date" in AL&S parlance...that JLC was forced to give Lange for 10 years back in the 90s. JLC couldn't use it until 2002 when it showed up (a little early) in the... 

I really love the over the top complicated JLCs personally. Especially with the two sides.
