Magnetizing

I was told by my AD that an alternative way of - by error - getting  your watch magnetized was the new kitchen stoves, where heating is done by induction. Technically these stoves work by magnetizing the pan, and if your watch comes to close, it will be affected to.

was what the JLC service center told me of how fast my Duo was running. And, yes, our mod, Nico, was correct... magnetized. all's well that ends well. no scratches on my watch. service was pleasant. and i didn't tell them to check for that specific proble...

Indeed, some are more susceptible to it than others. My other watches don't seem to be bothered by it. Will keep away just the same! : )
