Lets see your Habring2s

With all the post here and recently gotten the price list for their pieces i am seriously thinking of getting one. Although the one i would be able to afford is the time only model. I am interested in their handwind version and had a few questions. 1- How...

Me too!

 By: sidneyc : December 13th, 2010-03:06
I also have been inspired by all the recent Habring2 reveals! They are all gorgeous watches! I'm also in the process of working out specs for my order with Maria and Richard, and I agree with what everyone says, they are extremely friendly and helpful peo...

I'll try to respond based on my two H2s

As to your questions: (1) fit/finish - clean, albeit not fancy. The casing, elements and dials are lovely; in fact, the way the colored dials can change in the light is often remarked upon in this forum. The gentle curve of the hands also is nice. The mov...

with all due respect

the dials are wonderful. but on the first example seen through the transparent back, I find the bridges too sumptious baroquely over-engraved - to the limit of their boundaries . and confusing in their relation to the exposed wheel and the other parts vis...

You can respectfully say that

 By: SethRL : December 13th, 2010-14:11
because I do think the photos (my own) make them look overly baroque. In person, the engraving has some nuance and oddly seems to compliment, rather than oppose, the otherwise clean aesthetic of the rest of the watch. I can say that every time someone (at...

Thanks for the feedback guys!

 By: DaveB : December 13th, 2010-23:24
I purchased this originally as a time only 6498 and had it upgraded by Maria and Richard. There was no engraving on the movement. This is an early example: One of the nice things about the Habring's is they are willing to upgrade your watch. In this case,...

Great responses

Keep em coming guys,i am learning more and more with each post. Actually my initial short list was a Chopard LUC classic or a JLC Reverso 976. But now seriously considering the Habring as well. All 3 are within budget. Chopard has LUC movt to die for, JLC...

I was very close to pulling the trigger on that one. Looks like one of the sales person gave me the wrong info! I saw it at KLCC as well. Looks like we went to the same shop.

That's unfortunate...

Daos, if I remember correctly, they made a special dial for you. Is it a standard dial now?
