Sorry, ya i meant a soft microfiber cloth or a polishing cloth that came with the watch, not an abrasive one.

Tips for cleaning the matte black ceramic....

 By: milly : December 19th, 2016-12:32
Hi All, I am a little hesitant to touch or handle my watch on the case because I don't want the matte black ceramic to get finger oils or what not on it. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations on what to use to clean this? Can I just clean it ...

What watch is it...?

Do you mean something similar to a Panerai 292...? I just use a damp microfiber cloth on mine. Do not use a polishing cloth...this will be abrasive and not necessary..! Andy.

It’s ceramic! Unless your cloth is coated in sapphire dust or tungsten carbide,

you can scrub it with 000 wire wool and it’ll still be the same when you can't move your arm vigorously, any more. Touch your watch, for God sake – you bought it to enjoy, not to fret over regular unavoidable every day contact, otherwise you might as well...

Actually...

I just rinse my with some soapy water if really necessary... it not that bad, just a wipe with a soft cloth works well. Don't be too worried about scratching it unless it comes in contact with diamond etc. Cheers Andrew
