Ok I know that somebody was expecting that Tudor would have gone for a crazy price but... seriously a Tudor for 350K๐Ÿ˜‚

For me it is quite comic as a thing.

Anyway I am very happy for the Journe, a great result for a relative young brand and I look forward to see where they will use the new movement they have developed. For me they are among the very few brand, which have brought something really new, so their succes is really deserved.

I was expecting that the LF X Urwerk would reach an higher price. Maybe people did not understand/appreciate the collaboration or they thought that in the watch there was too much Urwerk. Anyway in my opinion in this was a nice collaboration and LF gave its valuable contribution.

The Patek was/is the obvious winner. Maybe in 30 years we will see it auctioned.

The AP went for an high price but I quite dislike it, too many colours involved. To me it seems a more a prototype.

Anyway I am really happy that over 10 million CHF was reached.

Best.

Hi all, Christieโ€™s leaded this afternoon in Geneva the Only Watch 2017 auctions which reached almost 11 millions CHF/USD. Below are the top 5 auctions. My preview with few of these timepieces: www.watchprosite.com 1/ Patek Philippe 5208T-010 โ€”> So...

So, in other words, you could have all these and some millions leftover...

I was actually surprised but the price the AP went for, it was a beautiful piece but what a crazy price. The PP, FPJ and Tudor were all as expected. On the other side, I thought the Urwerk x LF would have gone higher, but most were in the range of reasona...

Well the Tudor went to the same buyer as last time...

I agree... it is not a spectacular watch... I don't mind it, but its a tool watch... but as we know Rolex/Tudor do not make unique pieces so if you ever want to get something unique, I guess it ticks the box. Sure he is happy to take it home together with...

Yep! Here it is

Hi, I am surprised with the Tudor price. Now, the others, without surprise, all how wait. Best Regards, EJR.

Now that I had the chance to review all lots...

... there are many that sold nicely, some insanly high, some surpisingly low - from a pure horological standpoint the realized prices of the individual lots are totally out of perspective ๐Ÿ˜— What surprised me most is the rather low price for what I conside...

Yes, the Czapek fetched a comparatively low price as well. The winning bidder should be very happy and enjoy...

Grossmann: I think many potential buyers see no compelling reason for this brand...

and their recent moves (skull watch, anyone) do not exactly help either... Best, Magnus

Thanks for the update, my friend.

Yes the price of the Tudor relatively to its intrinsic value and all the other โ€œcompetitorsโ€ is obviously crazy but it was for a good cause and... Iโ€™m not the person who paid for it ๐Ÿ˜

Agree with you about the Urwerk / LF which is truly unique. The price of the AP is a little bit crazy too but what a dial my friend ๐Ÿ˜ It helped to go mad ๐Ÿ˜Š Best wishes Alkiro
