Bovet Cambiano Chronograph

Bovet is generally known for very ornate styling.

Added this watch to my collection as I found it to be an unconventional  example of a Bullhead type chronograph.

Unique "Amadeo" case allows easy strap changes and conversion into pocket watch and free standing desk clock.

Design a collaboration with Italian design house Pininfarina.

45 mm diameter. Brushed and polished stainless steel.

Subtle skeletonization, digital date, and nice balance to the depth of the dial with stacking of sub-registers.

Downside is that it is a bit thick at 15 mm but on the wrist and in person have found the unique lugs helps to avoid a hockey-puck look.

I had the chance to meet Mr Pascal Raffy few months ago and I have been truly impressed by his energy and passion for Bovet

His creations have a true identity and this little extra which give them a specific interest for watch collectors. Of course, you love or not the design but it's impossible to remain indifferent in my opinion. I owned a Bovet Sportster chrono in 40mm with...

Bets are on! 😉

Bovet has ads in YouTube that feature him

He talks about wanting perfection rather than productivity with each timepiece.

I prefer this way by far

Interesting designs and I always liked that shaped seconds hand. I almost pushed the button a few times but never did... yet. Cheers Andrew
