Anyone has already seen this watch? 

Any thoughts?

I like Basquiat paintings and the collaboration with Raymond Weil is fun even if not my Horology brand choice.

He's been dead for 30 years. I find this sort of thing really strange.

I read somewhere that it was in collaboration with his estate. The RW website contains a Basquiat Estate copyright note at the bottom of the product page. A strange watch indeed.

this would have no idea. I recognized it right off. Not huge fan of his work but know it when I see it.

He's quite popular. A lot of people would be able to recognize his work on the spot.

If it were from a more respected brand I'd be interested. Instantly recognizable as based on Basquiat. He's one of my favorite artists from the time, a first at what he did.

I find as I get older I am tired of the younger experts telling me about history…like when I hear the 20 something YouTubers telling me about what guys in Vietnam and subsequent conflicts wore and why…ugh…it’s like dude, you read this and are regurgitatin...
