I start to appreciate more and more the character of this one...

Yes, I know that the GP Foudroyante Rattrapante has a thick case, has a 7750 base. So what? It is a watch with a lot of character and I like its powerful design! Fx ...

I love this design and the subtle colors ....

Of the chronograph hands. The 7750 that serves as base is not a problem to me. Thank you for showing this beauty. Cheers, Nilo

Goo'day FX, very nice watch indeed, love the case.....

and the dial, the Foudroyante is mesmerizing but, because for me on this watch there is a but...I do not like the hands at all. Cheers from Down Under. Francois

I couldn't decide...

whether I like this one or not. The watch size was not a problem but the lugs were quite prominent and too extended for it to be comfortable on my wrist. The foudroyant is cool but pusher action requires some effort. Retro looking with the hands too. I th...

I had the same impression (lugs quite prominent) ...

And this perception made me to stay away from GP a long time. After I got my first (the Phil Hill homage version) I notice that this was a wrong perception and, in fact, the somehow long lugs, helps the watch head to stay put on my small wrist. After this...

Will post my reviw on that one, but yes, I like it a lot. LE of 100 pieces.

In a SS case. One of those watchs which haunts me.... Best, Nicolas

I love it... but I'm biased

Because I own this beauty! I too wasn't sure because of the bezel thickness and the base movement but frankly... the watch is just so bold and distinctive that I got over it quickly. It is a wonderfully enjoyable to wear and brings a smile to my face ever...

Really? This very same watch? Please post pictures!

I looked at it few weeks back at the Dubai mall AD and wasn't that expensive. Raman

Great watch and movement

The use of the 7750 would not bother me at all. It has been so heavily modified : additional barrel and gear train for the foudroyante (like the Duomètre from JLC), rattrapante by column wheel, etc. that there is not much left of the base movement anyway....

The movement has also been used by Graham.

I agree with what you said about this movement. This is a watch I would love to see in the flesh, as it may well be one of the GP I am considering to add in the collection. Best, Nicolas.

I will, with great pleasure, see it, as soon as I can.
