This is what is called a "pin set" movement, which was fairly common in early 1900's.  Instead of pulling out the crown to set the watch, you simply push in the pin and turn the hands.

Eeeeyaha! Never thought I'd let it go, but in my house no wrist time=new owner. This lovely gold circa 1915 H. Moser is the real deal, and measures approx 40 x 32 case size with lug tip to lug tip measure of about 46mm. The curved back and amazingly grace...
