Its a VW Phaeton from 2003 with only 70000 km on the meter. The engine is a petrol V6 3,2 litre. There is also versions with V8 and V10 and W12. ...

Nice machine... [nt]

My AD, Al Armstrong of Armstrong-Rockwell has a Phaeton! His is a W12 and he LOVES that car! Hope you have her out on the road soon!

According to Mr Piëch this had to be the best car in the world.

So why not drive it now? It won’t melt...

I have 2 cars so I decide to let the Phaeton rest the winterseason.

My wintercar is a old Nissan and it keeps Bad Santa busy,LOL!!

Ah you are planning to make an oldtimer out of it?

 By: Arie - Mr Orange : February 12th, 2018-06:47
I have more than once almost bought one. It must be a great car to drive.

And If I may ask

 By: Arie - Mr Orange : February 12th, 2018-08:07
Why the V6 and not the v8 or W12? Is it just because this low km example came along or is there a technical reason?

Its more a technical reason. The V8 and W12 is very expensive to repair and made service on.

 By: Tony.A. : February 12th, 2018-09:13
V6 is the same as Audi and VW VR6 and even Bad Santa can work with it,LOL! Also tax and insurance is much higher with the bigger engines. And one more thing, the fuelprices in Sweden! 1 litre 98 plus is about 15 Sek=1,85 USD

Aha
