Why Not? Tudor Black Bay 58 PuristSPro Edition

Mar 23, 2018,17:49 PM

Two little tweaks made to the new Black Bay 58 and it becomes a perfect Tudor heritage diving watch.  I mean it's a damn nice original to start with as Nico said in his thread (39mm x 11.9mm case, beveled lugs, gilt writing everywhere).  The addition of the Tudor rose and the red writing complementing the red triangle just makes it spectacular, don't you think?

Who's with me on this besides Nicolas and Echi?  I have to think there's at minimum 50 of us who would buy this concept version.

And now, who has a contact at Rolex/Tudor to help sponsor the watch?

Original pic from Tudor website and then tweaked for rose logo and red writing

Is there a vintage Tudor Sub that had the full minute markers on the bezel?

 By: Joepny : March 25th, 2018-07:34
I donā€™t know vintage Tudor subs 792x that well. You other PuristS definitely know more than me. I think the 15-minute markings on the bezel has been standard with Tudor vintage for a long time though, so it makes sense the way it is with the Black Bay 58 ...

The snowflake hands are a good design call.

I suggested the Mercedes hour hand and lollipop second hand too! The standard "pencil" hands will work with the lollipop second hand. But the snowflake hour hand won't work with the lollipop second hand.
