As you all know, I love old watch documents.
There is a lot of information you can learn from only one document...
Here is an example: The Girard-Perregaux reference 9034.
What did I learn from this document?
1. Confirmation of the three different dial versions.
2. Confirmation of the different hand versions of the Dot dial.
3. Confirmation of a central seconds version of the Dot dial.
4. Confirmation of that these watches originally was sold on the Corfam strap with and without holes.
5. Which is not shown in this photo, confirmation of that the 9034 was sold as a waterproof watch!
6. Confirmation of the production date, the document is from 1971, which aligns with the production of the 9034 (1967 - 1976).
Old documents are a great source of information and may also be used as shopping list.
