Sincere Fine Watches’ flagship boutique at the Pavilion sets a new benchmark in luxury watch purveying

12 world exclusive timepieces to be launched in conjunction with boutique opening

On 17th October 2007, in Malaysia Sincere Fine Watches opened its double-story flagship boutique at Kuala Lumpur’s premiere shopping mall – The Pavilion , to redefine the concept of luxury watch retailing.

Boasting approximately 3,500 square feet of retail space including a horology resource centre that allows new watch enthusiasts and avid collectors to enjoy and appreciate the art of high watchmaking in an exclusive and luxurious environment that is approachable and inviting. The flagship boutique is poised to be a watch haven that helps customers cultivate a taste of haute horlogerie, therefore, taking luxury shopping to a whole new level.

Double-storey boutique

The boutique concept is classic and mimics the new colour scheme of Sincere everywhere else  -  with gun barrel bronze and contrasting colors, coupled with rich metallic surfaces and mixtures of black mirror and high-polished finishing. The spaces within the boutique are uniquely created to give more depth and playfulness, highlighting various feature walls using plush materials ranging from bronze mirrored, wood to carbon. In addition, individual display areas incorporated with state-of-the-art lighting further accentuate the boutique’s world-class product offering.  Personally, I find that the designers put in too harsh lighting to see the watches in "real world" conditions. Note to boutique designers: If you must have "depth and playfulness", please also put in special stations with daylight-colour lighting for customers to see the watches, instead of them having to take the watches outside for a look - a clear security breach!

These are PuristS viewing stations that we call PureView© - feel free to contact me for licensing opportunities!   smile

Are these the stairway to Sincere-ly heaven-ly goodies?

The boutique will carry a comprehensive products range featuring 26 of the world’s most renowned brands in addition to its house exclusives – A. Lange & Söhne, Bovet, Buti, Cvstos, de GRISOGONO, F.P. Journe, Franck Muller, Giuliano Mazzuoli, Martin Braun, and Pierre Kunz.

In conjunction with the opening of its flagship boutique, Sincere will be unveiling the SINCERE World Exclusive Collection—a collaboration between Sincere and 12 of the world top watchmaking houses. Valued at RM39 million (US$11 M), the SINCERE World Exclusive Collection features limited edition pieces as well as some one-of-a-kind creations that are exclusively available only in Sincere in Malaysia. The collection includes pieces from A. Lange & Söhne, Bovet, Bvlgari, Corum, de GRISOGONO, Franck Muller, Girard Perregaux, IWC, Jean Richard, L.U.C. by Chopard, Martin Braun and Piaget.

“Not only will the launching of our Pavilion boutique set new industry benchmarks, our unwavering commitment to world-class product and service developments as well as exciting initiatives such as the World Exclusive collection and the Sincere Watch Academy for example, will continue to strengthen our position as the ‘World Premier Watch Specialist’,” said Mr. Tay Liam Khoon, Executive Director for Sincere Watch Sdn Bhd .

That would put most of the shops "Boutiques" on Madison and Rodeo shame. Thanks for the post. Bill
