It’s no secret that I’m a renegade, and a huge fan of the Carl F. Bucherer brand, with about a dozen in my stable. Like everyone else, I was totally blindsided by today’s announcement of Rolex acquiring Bucherer. For those of us vested in Carl F. Bucherer...

TravelTec was my first CFB.

I have three TravelTecs and absolutely love their wrist appeal and quality.

I have owned Carl F Bucherer 20 years now.

I could really care less what Rolex does, but hopefully they leave them be. In all honesty, CFB is really pimping out every possible dial color they can on virtually every model they make. None of which I would trade for my 20 year old Tonneaugraph.

Of course.

The purpose of my post was to discuss the potential future options for CFB.

Definitely a way under the radar brand

I’ve owned this simple Patravi Autodate for years. I’m interested in seeing if a charismatic leader within the Rolex talent pool might lend some substantive positive impact on the CFB brand. ...

Looks like you and John Wick have similar taste!

I agree. I’m hoping that Rolex recognizes the potential of CFB and brings them to the forefront. Having Rolex as their mothership certainly can’t be bad…as long as Rolex continues to develop CFB as a brand. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Believe his was the Manero

Mine is a long discontinued Patravi Autodate that is approaching 5 years of ownership. I’ve been wearing it more often lately. ...
