Zenith El Primero A386 Revival. The Re Edition of the legendary El Primero Chronograph from 1969 is unveiled.

To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the legendary Zenith El Primero Chronograph from 1969, Reference A 386, Zenith unveils it, this year, in three versions, each limited to 50 pieces, but all in gold. 


White Gold:




Yellow Gold: 



Rose Gold: 




The three side by side... 


Here we have a very close re edition of the icon, with some modifications, the most important being a see through case back and a modernized version of the movement. 

You can get each of them separately, you are not obliged to acquire them in a set. 

The retail is 19, 900 Euros each. 

For the comparison, here is the original: 




The case has the same size than the original, 38 mm. 

I can't wait to see the re editions in the metal, for more details. 

I just regret there is not a steel version available.

Thank God they did not re-edit my beloved G381... There is still something in me that tells me that these re-editions, no matter how good they are, are in fact devaluing the original. By devaluing I actually mean remove some of the magic, uniqueness/ rari...

Maybe the interest was there in the first place being one of the best known and most important watch the brand ever produced. The interest was therefore there in the first place and it can only improve. The copy watch is riding on that wave of interest. I...
