Trying on the Zenith Defy

While actually looking for the Tudor Black Bay 58, I accidentally came across something completely different - the recent Zenith Defy, in its solid blue dial variety (as opposed to skeleton). And had to try it on...

A very intriguing watch, IMHO. While I would personally have preferred it 1-2mm smaller, the size will probably appeal to most and the feather weight of the titanium case is a definite bonus for me (I know opinions are split on this). The Hublot style rubber / gator strap complements the wearing comfort and the watch is a pleasure on the wrist.

While I didn’t snap a picture of it, the movement finish and rotor design really fit the overall composition, which is a definite plus. Really like the rotor, a modern interpretation of the Zenith star design.

As for dial side, it’s unmistakably Zenith, even if in a relatively subdued variety - which I find is an added bonus.

The watch certainly packs a lot of value for the price and is an appealing piece, even if it didn’t leave the store with me.

Anyone went for one? Have a nice week!

I hear you...
