I love this watch with this dial--but I suspect I don't love it enough. Their regular steel El Primeros are so nice, and so relatively accessible, that it makes it hard for them to sell the likes of us on fancier models.
As always, market will tell
if this pricing was a good or bad idea from Zenith. If it was a bad one, it won’t sell. Best, Emmanuel
It seems thick indeed.
And I agree that the date window isn’t very attractive. But a triple calendar must have a date and it’s already a busy dial. Best, Emmanuel
Beautiful looking Zeniths especially the Lapis Lazuli dial versions.
But it may be just me those day and months windows look way too small whilst the date wheel looks way too big and the price is steep IMO. Although going by recent history these on the grey/used market could be close to 50% less. Marc
Maybe they considered that the date is a more important information.
I don't know and I'm not very much into Zenith so I don't care that much tbh. But the Lapis Lazuli dials look really nice. Best, Emmanuel
