between this one and the Striking 10th IMO. I predict you will find this far more versatile than you anticipate, and anyway it is the more "Zenith-y" of the two!

. . . and it came down to realizing I'd be looking for reasons to wear the Striking 10th. Better a watch you'd want to wear often than one for special occasions . . .

I can so totally understand your choice, even though I was leaning towards the Striking 10. I must say the dial design and layout is superb, I do not find it crowded at all, and cushion case...haven't had one for a long time. Look forward to your ownershi...

Congratulations, that is a truly handsome watch! My favorite modern Zenith as well, seems to capture many of the characteristics that made the original designs so charming.

. . . one of the original El Primero cushion cases . . . . . . which is a little smaller than the New Vintage, and unusually, didn't sit quite as well on my wrist....

I had my doubts when I saw it in the store. But then again, I never tried it on. It really goes to show that you really need to try a watch on before dismissing it. I thought it was too big. But it looks just right on your wrist. Very beautiful watch! Con...
