Flashback from a Viennese Coffeehouse Talk in summer: A Zenith Chronomaster on a NATO strap...

Little warms your heart better than a warm memory to a bright summer's day - particularly if a well-dressed fine watch accompanies you, like this Zenith Chronomaster El Primero 36.000 VpH with blue dial and an (aftermarket) assorted blue NATO strap:

Much has been said about this piece, which this specific one actually being in the possession of our lovely Miss R - who took the liberty to pimp it with this wonderful blue NATO strap:

That strap adds youth to a classic piece and entirely transforms its appearance into a sporty, fresh and energetic watch.

Now, with Zenith's typical 21mm lug width matching NATO straps are not any easy find (usually, you'll need to live with either the gap if using a 20 mm or with cramped cloth if opting for a 22mm strap). Actually, the Zenith Austria team had an internal competition to find a supplier who had matching straps...

.. but its totally worth it, I guess:

Perfect for a mental apparation into a sunny café by the sea...

... or at least into the tyically italian Café Michele in Vienna's 'Mariahilferstrasse' shopping district:

Have a nice weekend,
Magnus

Thanks for the reminder of what a Zenith chronograph could look like with a NATO strap. I did not imagine that was Miss R's dainty wrist as the images showed a surfeit of wristy hairs! Although my Zenith watch was supplied with a spare NATO strap, I don't...
