Expanding on the El Primero in their 160th year
After seeing the 160th Anniversary EP releases a few weeks back it got be thinking about some potential version of the EP I as a fan and owner would welcome, whether they are technically feasible is another matter...
1. Monopusher El Primero Original - the cleanliness of a monopusher feels well suited to the smaller EP Original case
2. Rattrapante El Primero Sport - They have created a split second in their relatively recent history, feels like the right complication to elevate the EP Sport even further
3. Double central seconds chronograph - Perhaps a technical reach, but have a 10th of a second hand and 1 second hand centrally mounted, chronograph minutes counter where the seconds currently reside on the EP Sport and count the hours where the minute sub dial currently resides, so an EP Sport with 10th of a second, second, minute and hour measurements...
Wishful thinking, but I await further releases this year...

Ideally they work from the Cal. 3600 platform
The last iteration of the split second was a touch too large and the big date is probably not required on a pure timing machine, perhaps no date at all.

Not bad. Could have had a black date window but getting older so white for clarity no problemo Best G
