I wonder if the archivist at Zenith . . .
. . . was trying to convey a message about the originality of the dial. Read narrowly, their reply could mean that reference was issued solely in white. Intrigued, Art
You are right, of course.
Originally this watch was delivered with a white dial... and at some point the latter was replaced by a green dial. No problem at all for me - on the contrary!

Sorry, but I didn't ask for this specific information...
Simply forgot about it - the corresponding movement and case numbers AND the green dial were more important for me at that time. 🙂 Greetings, Ron
As additional information, they DID produce emerald green dials, at least.
