A masterpiece of a dial: the Zenith El Primero Tribute to Charles Vermot

May 28, 2015,13:48 PM

this limited edition (1975 pieces) comes in Charles Vermot's favourite colour - blue . And I have to say - its a favourite of mine as well! Here just a teaser, more to come during the weekend:

A stupendous piece in celebration of a brave man who has crucially contributed to today's success (or even bare existence) of the brand by saving parts, plans and tools for the production of the El Primero movement.

Cheers,
Magnus

P.S.: Zenith had watch aficionados in mind when creating this watch. I think the dial alone justifies this...

and I did buy it for the blue dial... Dave ...

Wonderful! Somehow I really appreciate the combination of the 'mushroom' pushers...

and the quite edgy indices. Enjoy the piece and wear it in good health. Magnus

Copy that blue!

My blue on an unformal wrist today as well. A nice tribute, both the 36,6' chrono and the perpetual. Thanks for sharing! HAGWE! Sam. ...

Superb combination of watch, jacket and trousers...

very apposite. Best, Magnus P.S.: the CV version has a complete calendar, not a perpetual one.

A very nice blue dial!

They nailed it with this version, really good looking... I loved the Singapore special edition, panda style, but finding one of those wouldn't be easy! I genuinely hope they do a blue fume or sunburst dial version of the new Elite 6150, I would but it wit...
