The watch is "OK" looking but putting the "Range Rover" on the dial. Who would buy it? Not me. Classic Cars is so much better. Now they have partnerships with a broken down rock band (Rolling Stones), a cancer stick cigar manufacture (Chiba) and now with ...

and in 2015 it was at an all time high in the history of the company. So your assessment might reflect a local market, but not Europe or the US. I might be with you in respect to the Rolling Stones, particularly as I do not see this as a true two-way part...

joint ventures of watch and car brands. Just like I cannot stand the whole testimonial approach. I drove RR for more than 12 years (3rd generation). I appreciate the brand very much. But not on the dial of a watch. Apart from that these watches look prett... 

But writing that Range Rover on the dial looks kinda off. Keep this idea to lower end brands instead and focus more on classics. That's something I wouldn't even think about buying. Thanks for sharing anyway Magnus! Laurent

...I like my Zenith, but... All these co-brands make the watches appear to be corporate tchotchkes given for good service... Disappointing.

With each one of these non-events my passion for Zenith is eroded. They are becoming all to frequent now, pretty disappointing. Similar to the Rolling Stones edition from last year, I would but it if it as a regular, embellishment free release. My view is...

Range Rover to me, represents upper crust English snobbery and unreliable cars that cost a lot of money to service and fall apart. I just don\'t think that is the image Zenith would like to project. I just see the whole association to car manufactures as ... 

which is why I also stated that the partnership (like any, that is) needs be filled with life. What makes the Range Rover totally unique is that it is considered the only luxurious offroader which has credible off-road capabilities, actually. My business ... 

My guess for this direction from Zenith is that times are very tough. Cross selling via ventures like these will happen more and more. I did not like the Rolling Stones or the Cohiba series, the watches just didnt look right to me. These ones look ok.

I would not call the watch an unqualified success but it does various points well IMHO. The case material (apparently some sort of ceramised aluminium) is new and interesting, which is a plus. The dial looks pretty intriguing, too and the date wheel is al...

are that both (EL Primero & Range Rover) are icons on their own right, and as such have very little peers both were presented in 1969 So, for me the match could work. As I have written above, it needs to be filled with life, not necessarily with additiona... 

and the subdials are always very distinct. Not these I'm afraid. And I would have to agree with those about branding an auto manufacture to a watch.
