Both these Zenith watches are now over 20 years old, so they count as vintage (no “neo-vintage” pleonasms here please). Both trip on watches of even older stock.

The Deco / Bauhaus (?) numbers are sublime

They're sumptuous, aren't they? The numerals were designed in a high Art Deco fashion by the Portuguese jeweller J. Borges Freitas.

Zenith does some good work. The new Defy releases are impressive. As for underpriced, I think that applies for a lot of brands. This can make the hunt for value quite rewarding sometimes.

Thank you. I was first taken by their appearance. The fact that they both happen to be Zenith was of secondary interest, but it helped that it was a decent name on the dial.

The watch was a one-off, although you can see the 'Port Royal' basis for that watch.
